Theodore Roosevelt National Park Entrance Fees Waived for Founder’s Day

Celebrate the birth of the National Park Service with a visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Entrance fees will be waived in honor of the 103^rd birthday of the National Park Service on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Entrance fees will also be waived at National Park Service sites all across the United States. Two more fee free days remain this year, including National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 28 and Veterans Day, Monday, November 11.

The two other national park units in North Dakota – Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site, near Williston, and Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site, near Stanton, – are among the more than 200 national parks that never charge entrance fees.
