MEDORA, ND: The National Park Service has begun a pilot program to sell online electronic entrance passes to selected national park units through the "Your Pass Now" program. Visitors will be able to purchase annual and seven-day passes at their convenience in advance of their park visit. Theodore Roosevelt and Acadia National Parks, and Colorado National Monument passes can be purchased at www.yourpassnow.com. There is no additional cost for electronic passes.

"Your Pass Now" was developed NIC, Inc. in partnership with the National Park Service to better serve national park visitors. Additional electronic entrance pass systems are being tested for Everglades and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.

Once purchased, electronic passes may be printed or can reside on a mobile device for use at the park on the date of purchase or at a specified future date. Park staff will validate them upon presentation at the park. Specific instructions for the electronic passes will be provided when they are purchased. Passes are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-replaceable if lost or stolen.

Entrance fees collected at Theodore Roosevelt National Park are used to provide services which directly benefit visitors and to maintain and enhance visitor facilities.
