A limited number of sales items will be available for purchase when the visitor center lobby opens.

News Release Date: January 10, 2024

Murfreesboro, TN - Beginning on Tuesday January 16, 2024, the Stones River National Battlefield visitor center will be closed while contractors repaint the visitor center lobby. The public will have access to the restrooms and be able to pick-up a park folder, Junior Ranger books and access Passport to National Parks cancellation stamps in the restroom lobby.

We hope to reopen the lobby, including a limited selection of America's National Parks store sales items, on Friday January 19th. The museum and park film will be closed to the public when contractors begin recarpeting those areas.

The recarpeting/repainting process may take 4-6 weeks. Please check this website and the park's Facebook page for more details regarding the service availability
