Stillwater, NY: Transition to winter hours of operation will begin at Saratoga National Historical Park on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Beginning December 1, the park’s tour road will be closed until April 1. Winter weather may cause an earlier closure or delay opening. Please check the park’s website or social media for updates.

The Visitor Center will remain closed throughout the winter. Please bring water and snacks as none are available in the park. A portable toilet is located in the main lower parking lot. We encourage visitors to recreate responsibly by taking all trash and pet waste with them. Winter is a great time to discover the beauty of the battlefield, bird watch, look for deer, or enjoy the stillness of a snow covered walk. Grounds will be open sunrise to sunset for hiking, walking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

For more information about park operations and activities, please see the park’s website at www.nps.gov/sara or on Facebook and Twitter @SaratogaNHP
