Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument will follow suit of the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands on lifting fire restrictions as the monsoonal activity has increased bringing the needed precipitation across most of the nearby forest. The following acts are always prohibited at Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument:

  • Setting, building, maintaining, attending, or using fires of any kind, including wood and charcoal campfires within developed picnic areas, or permanently improved places of habitation.
  • Possessing or using any kind of fireworks or other pyrotechnic devices, is prohibited at all times on all lands within Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.
