SALEM, MA – For the next several weeks, the National Park Service (NPS) Visitor Center will be operating remotely out of the Waite & Peirce giftshop located at 193 Derby Street. The Salem Armory Visitor Center will remain closed to the public throughout the holiday season.

Portable toilets have been removed from the Salem Armory. The seasonal closure of the waterfront restrooms has begun and is expected to continue through April 2021.

Salem Maritime National Historic Site grounds, gardens, and waterfront remain publicly accessible seven days a week.
