Located at one end of the popular Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco Maritime is surrounded by fantastic nearby attractions. The iconic shops and restaurants in Ghirardelli Suqare are just across the street from our own Maritime Museum. Catch a ride on the historic Cable Cars at the Hyde Street turnaround, just on the corner of our Vistorian Park. Visitors and locals alike can enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, unique shopping, bay cruises, attractions, museums, and more around Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.

There are many neighboring National Park sites and historical areas in the city. Book a ferry ride to visit Alcatraz at Pier 33 and explore the diverse history of the island. Or dive into WWII history on the submarine museum USS Pampanito on Pier 45. Take a walk up to the views from Fort Masion, catch a bus out to Fort Point, or explore the many sites around Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
