Learn more about two major ecosystem restoration projects in Redwood National and State Parks

Redwood National and State Park staff are hosting two public meetings to answer public questions about these projects:
 
·On April 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the National Park Service North Operations Center, 500 Aubell Lane, Crescent City for the Greater Mill Creek Project.
 
·On April 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Federal Office Building at 1655 Heindon Road, Arcata for the Greater Prairie Creek Project.
 
The public meetings will be an open house format with park staff available to discuss specific aspects of the project and environmental documents.  Cards will be available for participant comments.
 
A 30-day public review and comment period for these projects will begin April 10, 2019 and end May 9, 2019.  Copies of the IS/EA for the Greater Prairie Creek Project may be downloaded from http://parkplanning.nps.gov/GPC and https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=980.  Copies of the IS/EA for the Greater Mill Creek Project may be downloaded from http://parkplanning.nps.gov/GreaterMillCreek andhttps://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=980.
