Crescent City, Calif. — Redwood National and State Parks has completed its conservation planning process for the Greater Mill Creek Ecosystem Restoration Project (GMC ERP). The decision to implement the project is recorded in a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) pursuant to NEPA, and in a Notice of Determination pursuant to CEQA for the project.
The GMC ERP will implement restoration across approximately 34,080 acres within the Greater Mill Creek watersheds, including both State and National Park lands. It is anticipated that some work on this project will commence in the summer of 2020.
