G-6-1 Road Removal Decision Document Now Available

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. – The National Park Service has completed its conservation planning process for the G-6-1 Road Removal Project in Redwood National Park. The decision to implement the project is recorded in a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) document. 

 

The G-6-1 project will remove one mile of logging haul road and eliminate the potential for sediment delivery into the lower reach of Tom McDonald Creek. The work is expected to begin on Aug.1, 2021, and take approximately two months to complete.
