Cabins in the Campgrounds

A modern cabin sits next to redwood trees.

Eight ADA accessible cabins are available for reservation in Redwood National and State Parks. Four are in the Elk Prairie Campground and four are in the Jedediah Smith Campground. These are basic cabins and guests need to come prepared for that.

What Do The Cabins Have?

  • Cabins have electricity; heaters and lights. There is no kitchen or bathroom.
  • Maximum occupancy is six persons. Each cabin has two bunk beds, each with a twin over a double in size,.
  • There are no mattress pads. Guests need to bring their own bedding.
  • Space for a small tent outside to accommodate an additional two people maximum.
  • Cabin rate includes entry for one vehicle; additional vehicles will be charged $8 per night.
  • No pets are allowed in the cabins.
  • No smoking, cooking or open flames inside the cabins.
  • Cabins each have an outdoor barbecue, fire pit, bear box and picnic bench.
