POINT REYES STATION, Calif. – Point Reyes National Seashore is seeking proposals to provide guided horseback rides, horse boarding, and horse camp services at Five Brooks Stables and Five Brooks Horse Camp within Point Reyes National Seashore. The selected concessioner will provide these services over a 10-year term. The anticipated effective date of the new contract is Dec. 1, 2026.

Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by 12 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Feb. 26, 2026, to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract. Parties must provide their notice of intent to submit by 12 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Jan. 27, 2026.

The National Park Service will hold a one-day site visit for interested parties on Dec. 10, 2025. Instructions on how to register for the site visit can be found in the Business Opportunity documents included in the link below.

Concession contracts enhance the visitor experience by providing hospitality services that federal agencies typically do not offer, while still advancing the National Park Service mission. Concession operations can also expand employment opportunities in the communities surrounding national parks.

All proposals from qualified offerors are evaluated using the same criteria to ensure a fair and competitive process in accordance with the National Park Service Concessions Improvement Act of 1998.

The prospectus, which describes this business opportunity and includes the terms and conditions under which the National Park Service will award the concession contract, is available at go.nps.gov/BusinessOpportunities

Any questions regarding this business opportunity must be sent in writing via email by Dec. 18, 2025, to Mark Juretschke, Financial Analyst, Department of the Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12.
