The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook including high winds and heavy rains. A series of systems will move through this region and include the following areas of concern:

Winds: A wind advisory is in effect for the SF Bay Area for Saturday afternoon and evening. Many locations could see gusts to near 40 MPH with some higher peaks and coastal areas exceeding 50 MPH.

Rain: multiple rounds of rain are forecast with the greatest amounts expected for Saturday afternoon through the evening along with Sunday evening into Monday morning. Heavy rain and strong winds could lead to local road flooding and closures, downed trees and power outages.

Additional rainfall is anticipated for the middle and later part of next week.
