Tickets for the Observation Deck

The Memorial rotunda and observation deck are open daily, 10 am to 6 pm. The rotunda is free. Tickets to the observation deck are sold daily in the vistor center, 10 am to 5:45 pm. Tickets are not available in advance but are only sold on the day of your visit. Click fees and passes to learn more.

The visitor center including the interactive exhibits, a 15-minute park film, and the park store, is open daily 10 am to 6 pm. The memorial plaza, park walkways, lawns, and all roads including State Route 357 (Bayview Ave), are available 24-hours daily.

The visitor center has designated accessible parking spaces plus parking for golf carts and cars. Visitors may be dropped off in front of the visitor center but must park cars in the side lot. With the ongoing seawall construction in front of the International Peace Memorial, all parking has been moved to the right of the memorial. A bicycle rack is provided.

Please do not park any vehicle including golf carts on the grass or on sidewalks. If parking is full, return to the visitor center to park and walk the pathway to the memorial, or try later.

Construction and Road Condition

The project to repair and restore the north and south seawalls continues into 2024. The lanes of traffic along Bayview Avenue in front of the monument are narrow with tight curves and no shoulders. Due to pedestrian traffic, golf carts, vehicles, and bicyclists, congestion on the road through the park is heavy. Planned and spontaneous temporary lane or road closures may occur. This information will be posted in the alerts on this website and the NPS App.

The seawalls protect the area from wave action, ice push, and effects of climate change. The project should extend the seawall life cycle up to 40 years and decrease flooding of the grounds.
