Attack Road Trail Temporary Closure October 23-November 9

Petersburg, VA – A .66 mile portion of the Attack Road Trail will close between Hickory Hill Road and Harrison Creek Trail (refer to points A and B on the attached map) while contractors remove potentially hazardous trees. The work is scheduled to start on Monday, October 23, 2023. Barring any weather delays the planned completion date is November 9, 2023.

The Eastern Front Unit has over 10 miles of multiuse trails suitable for hiking, running, and bicycling. Horseback riding is also allowed on over five miles of the trail system. Learn more about the outdoor activities you can do at Petersburg National Battlefield.
