Benjamin Schedler Benjamin Schedler is a photographer based in Northern California. His images represent what he is most passionate about: documenting the natural world and telling the stories about how we interact with it. Always seeking different perspectives, constantly looking for a composition, the camera helps him translate to others how he sees the world around him. A former Artist-In-Residence at Acadia National Park, Maine, the focus of his current work is bringing an artistic perspective to conservation photography. 
Benjamin Schedler My passion for the outdoors is what motivates me as a photographer. I am humbled when I think about the world in which we live and the forces at work carving out the natural landscape. My photographs have a distinct graphic quality. I tend to emphasize the geometry in nature; strong lines, contrast, shape, and texture are all prominent features in my work. Thematically, I am drawn to the power and solitude found in the wilderness. I see it as my role as a nature photographer to go the extra mile and bring back compelling images that make the viewer appreciate the world around them. |
