Road Condition Reports:

Parashant National Monument and the Arizona Strip encompasses millions of acres and thousands of miles of unpaved roads. Current road reports are not comprehensive to all routes. You may be the first to come on impassible conditions that have not been reported by rangers on patrol. Always have a detailed topographic map such as BLM's Arizona Strip visitor map available for purchase at the Interagency Center and most nearby Federal agency offices. This map shows most open roads of the Arizona Strip.

Always carry safety/self-rescue equipment with you. Expect to encounter adverse road conditions.
