Search continues for missing woman at Grand Canyon
UPDATE - April 13, 2016
Search and rescue crews looked above and below the canyon rim for Diana Zacarias, aided by the park helicopter conducting aerial searches. The search will be scaled back to a continuous but limited mode in which rangers and pilots will search for clues when in the area. Zacarias's picture and description remain posted throughout the park.

Missing woman at the South Rim of Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon National Park Rangers and ISB Special Agents request your help in finding Diana Zacarias.
On Sunday, April 3 the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a phone call reporting a missing person last known to be at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
Diana Zacarias, of Natchitoches, LA, was reported missing by a family member. Zacarias arrived at the South Rim via the Arizona Shuttle on April 2 and was dropped off at the Maswik Lodge.
She is believed to have visited Yaki Point and Lookout Studio.
Zacarias is 22 years old, 5'02" tall, weighs 104 pounds, and has short, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink hat, purple fleece, black rimmed glasses, and is possibly carrying a small, green backpack.
The National Park Service is currently conducting a Search and Rescue (SAR) operation for Zacarias, as well as a missing person investigation.
