Oregon Caves NM was happy to participate in days of education, music, and fun centered around sustainability and conservation during Sustainapalooza 2010 at Rogue Community College on April 22 and Rogue Valley Earth Day at the grounds of ScienceWorks on April 24. Over 200 children and adults played the rock cycle dice game. They learned more about the Earth and ways to conserve it while becoming igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks as well as sediments and magma. As they journeyed from each position in the rock cycle, they earned a bead and at the end, each participant got to take home their own "rock" bracelet.
