Oregon Caves NM&P has reopened as of December 18th, following the completion of the Slater Fire mop up
(seasonal closures remain in effect)

The Slater Fire started on September 7th, 2020. The fire spanned across the Oregon-California border and came within two miles of Oregon Caves National Monument. Please call the Illinois Valley Visitor Center in Cave Junction for current information, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 541-592-4076

Seasonal cave, visitor center, and road closures are in effect. The monument & preserve trails are open.
