Sedro Woolley, WA – Increased smoke is expected in the area due to a moderate increased fire behavior along with dry and unstable weather conditions. Warmer temperatures provide more active burn periods in the afternoon hours. Coupled with light winds and cooler temperatures at night, smoke is easily trapped in valleys and drainages in the general area of the fires. Cooler temperatures and possible moisture later this week may limit smoke temporarily, but smoke conditions may linger until a season ending rain event.

Take caution when recreating outdoors when smoke is present. Learn more at https://wasmoke.blogspot.com/airnow.gov, https://map.purpleair.com/1/mAQI/a60/p2592000/cC4#7.49/48.758/-120.75

The Chilliwack Complex trail and camp closures remain in effect due to fire activity. Closure information can be found at https://www.nps.gov/noca/planyourvisit/trail-conditions.htm
