Glen Jean, West Virginia—Time to get outside! Celebrate parks and health in the outdoors at 2016 Outdoor Adventure Fest in New River Gorge National River,July 29 –31. Learn how to play, stay safe, and practice outdoor ethics on any outdoor adventure at this FREE, hands-on festival. Explore fun ways to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit.  

Friday, July 29

New River Gorge 100 Mile Challenge Adventure Hike,5:30 –8:30 pm. Location: Grandview. Celebrate 100 years of the National Park Service on this 4 mile challenge hike to help reach your 2016 goal to hike 100 miles in the local national parks in 2016. Meet at Grandview Visitor Center to hike the Grandview Rim Trail.

Saturday, July 30

Adventure Street Fair, 10:00 am –3:00 pm. Location: Grandview. Come and go as you please for this hands-on outdoor adventure festival.

Subaru Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers, 11:00 am –1:00 pm. Location: Canyon Rim Visitor Center in Lansing. Meet this national trainer team and learn hot outdoor ethics tips.
