Getting to McBeth House

The McBeth House is an affiliated site of the Nez Perce National Historical Park that is located on private property on the in Kamiah, Idaho; however, it is not currently open to the public. Out of respect for the land owners property rights, we will not provided directions to this site. However, the nearby First Indian Presbyterian Church that the sisters were members of and worked for is still active and meets every Sunday.

Nearby Amenities

• The McBeth House is located approximately 60 miles east of the Nez Perce National Historical Park's visitor center where further information is available.
• Interpretive signs for The Asa Smith Mission and Long Camp, two other park sites, are located at the same highway pullout west of the McBeth House.
• Looking Glass' 1877 Camp, another park site, is located east of the McBeth House.
• Heart of the Monster, another park site, is located less west of the McBeth House.
• In addition, the Idaho Department of Commerce has a trip planning website that will help you locate hotels, campgrounds, restaurants, and other amenities near the McBeth House.
