The construction activities started on Monday, July 9th, and will extend through mid-October. The entire Glenrock picnic area will be closed to the public for the duration of the construction period.
Replacing this comfort station is another of a series of projects aimed at improving the restroom facilities along the Natchez Trace Parkway. Every effort will be made to complete the work within the ninety day construction period in order to minimize impacts to the public.
The majority of the work will take place adjacent to the Parkway, and should not impede traffic flow. However, travelers can expect to see construction personnel and equipment, and are asked to exercise caution while traveling through this area.
Questions related to this work can be directed to the Parkway's Chief of Maintenance, Rusty Rawson, at (662) 680-4020.
