For Teachers

The Missouri National Recreational River offers a variety of free learning opportunities for any size of class. Our education and outreach team can bring the Missouri River into the classroom or classes can visit the national park. We recommend a combined classroom visit with a field trip. Topics include scenic inventories, cultural history, ecology, fish and wildlife, and geology. The links provided on this page can help plan a successful educational experience or email or call 605-665-0209 for additional information.
