During the summer season, we seek college students, professionals, and other qualified individuals to fill our Biological Science Technician and Park Ranger and Park Guide positions. For the Year 2020, the Missouri National Recreational River will be hiring the following seasonal positions:

  • Biological Science Technician (GS-05 / $16.27/hr)

  • Park Ranger - Interpretation (GS-05 / $16.27/hr)
    Job duties include developing and presenting education programs for the classroom and various audiences, presenting talks, guided tours and demonstrations, co-leads and supervises seasonal interp staff and creating publications.   • Park Guide (GS-04 / $14.56/hr)
    Job duties include talking to people and provide information, develop and present guided walks and programs encompassing the park’s natural and cultural history, assist in river paddle trips and kayak clinics, staff visitor contact areas, and complete projects as assigned.
