Oak Ridge, Tennessee: Manhattan Project National Historical Park will host a variety of programming during June for visitors to explore the atomic beginnings of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
  • On June 15 from 11-12pm ET, participate in a new ranger talk, K-25: Enriching Uranium in Happy Valley, at the K-25 Overlook off the Oak Ridge Turnpike.

  • Two programs are scheduled for the evening of June 20th, a ranger walk in Jackson Square, Building America’s Secret City, from 6-7pm ET followed by the summer-time favorite, Tennis Court Dances, on the Jackson Square Tennis Courts from 7-8pm ET. Looking to do both? The ranger walk will begin at Jackson Square and conclude at the tennis courts in time for the first dance.

  • After a long hiatus, Paddle with a Ranger programs resume in Oak Ridge. The first of the summer will be held on June 22, Displacement: Freels Bend Paddle on Melton Hill Lake from 11am-1pm ET. The paddle is BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat). No boats are provided by the NPS. This 1.5-mile paddle embarks from Guinn Road Park in Solway.
