Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to Greatness

A theatrical documentary produced for Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to Greatness brings history to life and captures the portrait of a humble man who was destined for greatness. Join Lincoln on his dramatic journey from Springfield, Illinois to the White House.

Stirring music and a high-tech sound system add to the drama as the film looks at Lincoln before he was an icon. The film plays in Theater 1 of the Visitor Center and runs 23 minutes.

Homage to Lincoln & At Home with Mr. Lincoln

At Home with Mr. Lincoln is a film designed as a virtual, narrated tour of the Lincoln Home. We recommend visitors who cannot go on a guided tour of the Lincoln Home watch this film as an alternative.

At Home with Mr. Lincoln is immediately followed by Homage to Lincoln, which highlights Lincoln's National Legacy through images of Lincoln artifacts and historical photos.

Each of these two films last 10 minutes each and play in Theater 2 of the Visitor Center.
