SPRINGFIELD, IL: On Saturday October 28, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Lincoln Home National Historic Site will host our annual Trick-or-Treat Halloween event in partnership with the City of Springfield.

Stop by Lincoln Home National Historic Site and the Lincoln Home Visitor Center, located at 426 S. 7th Street, to trick-or-treat, show off your costume, and participate in other activities in the Lincoln Home neighborhood. Volunteers and living history actors portraying Abraham and Mary Lincoln will hand out candy. There will be a costume contest, so remember to dress in costume! Visitors can also donate canned goods, which will benefit the food bank at Grace Lutheran Church. At 7:00, be sure to head downtown to participate in the City of Springfield’s 6th Annual Halloween Parade.
