SPRINGFIELD, IL: Lincoln Home National Historic Site will host a free, all-day public celebration marking the two hundred and fourteenth anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth in the Lincoln Home National Historic Site Visitor Center (426 S. 7th Street) on February 11 and February 12, 2023.

Stop by the Lincoln Home Visitor Center anytime during the day to join National Park rangers as we celebrate Lincoln's birthday. You can make a birthday card for President Lincoln, take an Instagram-worthy selfie or family photo at our Lincoln Home photo booth, try some historic toys and games, or create a Lincoln-themed craft! At 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day, see if you can figure out which story is a Lincoln "tall tale" during our Lincoln storytelling program, "Lincoln's Tall Tales: Humor, Myth, and Lincoln's Life."

The Lincoln Birthday Bash is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Jasmine Leung at 217-391-3244 or at jasmine_leung@nps.gov.
