Lassen Volcanic National Park has partnerships with a variety of organizations in order to help the National Park Service fulfill its mission. Partners provide important support for education, sustainability initiatives, management solutions, and park research.

Lassen Association

Lassen Association is a non-profit partner that promotes the discovery of Lassen Volcanic, enriches the experience of visitors, and supports the preservation and protection of the park for future generations. Profits from Lassen Association stores in the park and online directly support park research, conservation, and education programs.

Lassen Park Foundation

Lassen Park Foundation provides support to preserve and interpret the special natural and cultural resources of Lassen Volcanic National Park and its environs for future generations. With the generosity and dedication of our supporters, the non-profit Park Foundation has provided funding for projects including the winter snowshoe education program, Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center, and Volcano Adventure Camp (youth camping facility). Become a Friend of Lassen by contributing to the Lassen Park Foundation; your donation is tax-deductible.

Snow Mountain, LLC

Snow Mountain, LLC operates visitor services at Lassen Volcanic National Park. The concessioner operates lodging, Warner Valley Campground, food service, retail, guided horseback rides, paddle craft rentals, and other visitor services at the park. Snow Mountain, LLC is a subsidiary of Ortega National Parks, a long-time concessioner with national park operations throughout the country.

NASA Ames Research Center

NASA's Ames Research Center, one of ten NASA field centers, is located in the heart of California's Silicon Valley. Scientists from center complete biology and astrobiology research in the park. A team also works with astrobiology student interns from nearby Red Bluff High School to contribute to an ever-growing collection of documentation on the diverse thermal features and microbial populations in the park.

University of California, Davis

The University of California, Davis (UC Davis) includes Lassen Volcanic National Park in its Natural Reserve System. The Lassen Field Station is the sixth UC Davis Natural Reserve in a system that now spans Northern California from its alpine forests and across grassland prairies to the shores of Bodega Bay. It is among 41 reserves in the UC-wide reserve system.

Lassen Gateway Coalition

Spring Meeting

The Lassen Gateway Coalition includes government agencies, business, and tourism organizations in and around Lassen Volcanic National Park and Lassen National Forest. The group meets every spring to share information and identify opportunities to improve visitor opportunities in the Lassen region.
