Stanton, ND:  Come and get your hands dirty during an interactive pottery demonstration at Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site.

On Saturday, August 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time, Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site is hosting Professor Linda Olson who will showcase the art of pottery making for visitors.

Professor Olson is Chair of the Division of Humanities and Professor of Art at Minot State University. She has extensively documented Native American rock art, contributing to numerous galleries and exhibitions.

Professor Olson will talk briefly about the art of pottery and will then demonstrate some modern techniques using the potter's wheel. Visitors can join in the fun and try their own hand on the wheel.
