Skagway – Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park requests assistance from the Skagway community to identify historical photos on March 27.

Because the park’s December photo event was such a success, park staff are unveiling more mysterious photos this Seward’s Day. Park staff will bring a number of photographs from the park's collections for interested community members to share any information or stories they know about the people, places, and buildings shown in the images. Not all of the images are from the gold rush and any information will be useful.

“Many of our photos are missing the stories behind them,” says Superintendent Mike Tranel. “We hope to tap into the immense knowledge base of our friends and neighbors to learn and share the stories more widely with all park visitors.”

The event will be held at the Sweet Tooth Cafe on Monday, March 27th, 2017 from 9am-11am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
