SKAGWAY –Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park will host the Elizabeth Peratrovich Celebration performed by the Jilkaat Kwaan Heritage Dancers in the park auditorium on Monday, February 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Presented by the Skagway Traditional Council, the performance is a great opportunity to see Tlingit dances and learn about Tlingit culture. The Jilkaat Kwaan Heritage Dancers originate from the nearby village of Klukwan on the banks of the Chilkat River.The group will also perform on Tuesday, February 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Skagway School. Both performances are free and open to the public.
