Geology, Glaciers, and Gold: road guide

 

This guide can be used online or you may pick up a copy at the Visitor Center.

If you are planning a trip up this route please be aware that this route crosses in to Canada and passports are required to continue through Canadian Customs on to Whitehorse, or to return to Skagway through U.S. Customs. Additionally, there is limited cell phone reception as you move up the valley, and no services between Skagway and Carcross.
