The National Park Service (NPS) has released a draft General Management Plan and Environmental Assessment for Kings Mountain National Military Park (NMP) near Blacksburg, South Carolina. The plan presents three alternative management strategies, including the no-action (or no change) alternative, as well as the environmental impacts and costs for each alternative.

All interested persons are invited to learn more about the plan and to provide comments and ask questions at two public open house meetings on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.
