National Park Service job opportunities in Keweenaw National Historical Park are announced on USAJobs. Applicants must submit a specific application, within a specific time frame, for every position available.

Volunteer at Keweenaw NHP

Keweenaw NHP participates in the National Park Service's Volunteers in Parks (VIP) program. Each year more than 85,000 volunteers donate more than 3,000,000 hours of service in the US national parks.

The program uses voluntary help in a way that is mutually beneficial to the National Park Service and the volunteer. Volunteer applications can be submitted directly to the park.

Internships

Youth Empowerment Stewards (YES)

The intern works with the interpretation and education team to add important resources to the parks interpretive tools by creating activities for learners of all ages and abilities that are designed using multiple learning styles and universal design techniques. The activities focus on park interpretive themes and complement ideas and concepts that visitors will discover while visiting the park and heritage areas.

Canidates must be between 18-24 years of age or a max of 35 for military veterans, identify has having a disability or have a personal connection to the disability community, and they must be U.S. Citizens or eligible to work within the U.S. Please share this opportunity with your networks.
