Weather

Weather conditions in the Keweenaw can change rapidly and vary based on the time of the year and the different locations throughout the peninsula. Use the forecast links below to find weather information for park locations.

Home to Park Headquarters, Calumet Visitor Center, and the Calumet Heritage Sites.

Various Heritage Sites are located throughout Houghton and Hancock, including the Quincy Unit and Michigan Tech University.

Copper Harbor is located near the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula and home to the Fort Wilkins Historic State Park.

Ontonagon is the location of the County Historical Museum and close to the Adventure Mining Company, Old Victoria, and Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park sites.

Located at the mouth of Keweenaw Bay and along US 41, Baraga is the nearest city to Hanka Homestead Museum.
