Part of Katmai's allure is its remote location. Accessible only by plane or boat, the trip to Katmai itself is often quite a journey. Even if you are unable to visit in person there are still ways to stay connected. For those of you “parked” at home who want to engage virtually, we have many digital tools available to explore Katmai National Park and Preserve.

• Watch the bears of Brooks on the live bear cams. During the summer season, Rangers often host live informative chats and answer visitor questions on the bear cams. While the cameras aren't live during the winter and spring, you can still watch the highlight reels or the recorded live chats from the previous summer on explore.org's YouTube channel.
• Discover science, history and more on Katmai National Park and Preserve’s YouTube Channel.
