Brothers from Brookline: Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) 100 Walking Tour

“Brothers from Brookline" is a new walking tour, commemorating the legacy of Robert F. “Bobby” Kennedy, who was born in Brookline in 1925, 100 years ago.

Available at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 14 and Thursday, August 21, "Brothers from Brookline" starts at the John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site Visitor Center. The tour lasts approximately one hour and is free of charge.

The Ranger-led tour will explore the evolution of President John F. Kennedy’s relationship with his younger brother, and closest advisor, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. Visitors will discover the shifting dynamics of their childhood. See their working partnership establish lasting change and examine Robert’s efforts to cement his older brother’s legacy while establishing one of his own.

As we explore their lives and relationship, the tour will also ask: How do our siblings shape us into who we are? Can people truly grow and change? What would we do for our loved ones?

Tours are dependent on weather and staff availability. Reservations are not needed, but we encourage visitors to call ahead (617-566-7937) the morning of their visit to ensure the tour is still going out.
