KIMBERLY – The National Park Service wants the public to know that the Federal Highways Administration and their contractors will be working on paved parking lots and paved roads at the Sheep Rock and Clarno Units of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. This will not affect any US or Oregon Highways that pass through the monument.
“This maintenance is important to continue providing a quality experience for park users and is necessary to preserve park infrastructure”, said Superintendent Shelley Hall, “We have planned the work to minimize impacts on visitors and appreciate their patience during the project”.
