About the Artist

Ben Cosgrove is a traveling composer-performer and writer whose work explores themes of landscape, place, and environment in North America. Ben has performed in every U.S. state except Delaware and Hawaii, and held artist residencies and fellowships with institutions including Isle Royale (July 18th to August 2nd, 2014) and Acadia National Parks, White Mountain National Forest, Harvard University, Middlebury College, the Schmidt Ocean Institute, the New England National Scenic Trail, Chulengo Expeditions, and the Sitka Center for Art & Ecology. His nonfiction has appeared in Orion, Taproot, Northern Woodlands, Appalachia, and other publications. He is currently based in Maine.
