Musician Gathers Inspiration for a Solo Album
At Homestead National Monument of America

Devon Reynolds, a musician and singer will give a presentation on her work on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. This free presentation will be held at Homestead National Monument of America in the Education Center. This is a great opportunity to learn how landscapes and sense of place can inspire and influence music and songs.

Reynolds is a lifelong musician and singer from Colorado. She draws inspiration from her--and everyone’s--connection to the earth. While her main instrument is Ukulele, she also plays piano and is learning guitar. She's eager to explore the archives for historical music at Homestead National monument and continue her work on her first solo album. As a current Artist-in-Residence, Reynolds will be at the monument until August 28, 2018.

“We are excited to welcome Reynolds to the Monument and hope that she find many useful resources here as she continues work on her album,” stated Superintendent Mark Engler.
