Kids in Parks Celebrating World Migratory Bird Day at Homestead National Historical Park BEATRICE, Neb. – Attention kids of all ages! Come out to Homestead National Historical Park, as we celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a FREE Kids in the Parks Activity. We’ll have a fun craft to do, and a trail hike to view some cool critters! The fun begins at the Homestead Education Center on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Bird Migrations are a world phenomenon, and it’s important to be aware of some challenges faced by the birds. A good example is pollution, which we’ll investigate during our activity. Who knows what you could see or learn? Join us, dressed for the weather. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.
