Virtual Tours of Yukon Mining Sites

Among the many cultural resources to be discovered by visitors in the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve are a collection of machines and structures which remain from the early era of industrial gold mining in Alaska. The virtual tours presented below are intended to offer an alternative means of experiencing a selection of these unique resources, as these heritage sites are in remote locations not easily accessible.

For more information on these resources and the surrounding landscapes please visit the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve website.

These tours were created for Yukon-Charley National Preserve by HDP architect Ryan Pierce with panoramic and field photographs by HAER engineer/photographer Todd Croteau.
