National Park Service to Host Free Workshop on How to Apply for Federal Jobs

HALEAKALĀ NATIONAL PARK, Hawaiʻi— On Saturday, February 24, 2024, Haleakalā National Park is providing a free workshop on writing federal resumes and applying to federal jobs. The workshop will be held at the Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (Milepost 6, Maui Veterans Highway, Kihei, HI 96753) from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and is open to the public. Bring your current resume and a lunch. For the ʻohana (family), we will have education activities for your keiki (children) during the workshop at the Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center.

This workshop emphasizes the importance of a well written federal resume, attendees will learn how to navigate USAjobs.gov to successfully apply to federal positions and job opportunities with the National Park Service. Consider a career in the National Park Service and attend this free workshop. Register at Federal Resume Workshop by February 19, 2024.
