Okaloosa Day Use Area

Operating Hours:

Year-round: 8:00 a.m. to Sunset

Things to Do:

This quiet water area features white sandy beaches, calm waters for swimming, picnic tables, bird-watching, a boat launch, and public restrooms with outdoor showers.

Entrance Fees:

Visitors must pay a park entrance fee.

Safety:

There are no lifeguards on duty at the Okaloosa Area. The boat ramp is currently closed to motorized vessels due to the launch being damaged.

Directions:

From Pensacola: Follow Hwy. 98 across the Pensacola Bay Bridge and through Gulf Breeze. Stay on Hwy. 98 for 38.1 miles the Okaloosa Area is located on the left side of the highway.

From Destin: Follow Hwy. 98 west onto Okaloosa Island for 3.5 miles, the Okaloosa Area is located on the right side of the highway.
