Gulf Islands National Seashore Parking Lot Improvement in Naval Live Oaks Area begins April 22

GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- Gulf Islands National Seashore will perform milling and asphalt overlay work on Naval Live Oaks on the south side of Highway 98 from April 22 to 26.

The parking area will remain partially open, but the entrance will be single lane. Signage will be installed on Highway 98 at the intersection of the bike lane and barrel cones will be placed to delineate the work area. Flaggers will also be stationed at the entrance area.  

Work is scheduled to begin at the entrance area and proceed throughout the closed sections within the parking area (see map). RVs and oversized vehicles will not be allowed to enter the parking area during this time.

Please use caution if you plan to enter this area pay attention to the flaggers and traffic control signage.
