Grand Adventure

Complete The Grand Adventure, an activity booklet for children of all ages, in order to become a Junior Ranger! Participants earn a Junior Ranger badge by completing the activities for their age. Check at visitor centers or the park newspaper for ranger-led programs and suggested activities to help complete the booklet. The Grand Adventure is available at any park visitor center and online.

If you complete your Junior Ranger booklet at home, mail the booklet to the park to receive your Junior Ranger badge!

Junior Ranger Day

Celebrate National Junior Ranger Day in Grand Teton National Park in the spring at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose. Check our calendar for date and times. This event includes activities for kids of all ages. Families can play park-themed games, explore rescue vehicles, learn from a ranger, and earn a Junior Ranger badge. The Grand Teton Association will offer a 15% discount on all bookstore purchases.

Virtual Junior Ranger

Become a Grand Teton National Park virtual Junior Ranger and learn about ranger jobs! Did you know that there are many different types of rangers? On April 18, 2020 check out the park Facebook page for various videos, pictures, and fun activities you can do at home to help you learn about ranger jobs. Once you've completed activities, watch the video to take the pledge and print out your very own virtual Junior Ranger certificate and badge!
