Grand Canyon, Ariz.–Last evening, Friday, July 3, a park ranger responded to a report of a hiker in distress on the North Kaibab Trail. When the ranger arrived on scene, bystanders had already attempted resuscitation efforts without success. No additional information is available at this time. An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Park Service in coordination with the Coconino County Medical Examiner. -NPS- |
